Two tribes are placed on a tropical island and forced to work together with the very people
they'll be theoretically voting off the island throughout the game. There are challenges
that are scheduled and daunting but also the challenge of surviving the island itself and
the people you're stuck side-by-side with for as long as you can possibly last. The island
and the game itself are brutal and gruelling. Does your character have what it takes to
OUTWIT OUTPLAY OUTLAST?

Given the nature of this plot and the likelihood that it will take a long OOC time to complete
it will be run OUTSIDE OF NORMAL IC TIME. Which means your characters can continue life as per
usual in the normal world on the Enterprise and when the plot is COMPLETED, you can fit it
into your gameplay as a current event! The IC span of the 'game' will probably still be a couple of
weeks so your characters will have a 'couple of weeks' of absence from the ship for you to work into
their history/stories when the plot has completed.
I want to limit signups to people who will be fairly active as in posting multiple times a day
as this game requires some IC discussion between tribal councils and if you aren't around to play
you'll be left out (just like MAFIA) and that'll just really suck and your character will probably just
get voted right the hell off. Oops. Plus I don't want this to last for a YEAR so.
Hopefully I will make the instructions and information coherent enough that you can play
without having watched the TV show! If you require any additional information, hit me up.
We'll be doing 'Tribal Council' every FOUR days, scheduled OOC time so that you can discuss
IC in threads between characters. Rapid, rapid, rapid!
Participants of Survivoprise will be split into two tribes. The first part of the game involves
the tribes working together to pass immunity and reward challenges which they will win or lose
as a team. Reward challenges give the winning team a leg up in the competition-- either physical
or mental boosters to help them continue on and do well (reflected in your character's statistic
points.) Immunity challenges decide which tribe is safe from Tribal Council.
Tribal Council is where participants are voted out of the game by their fellow tribe-
mates. The losing team attends Tribal Council where the members of the tribe write down a single
name. The person with the majority of votes is removed from the game.
The second half of the game involves the tribes being merged. When there are only X number
of players left in the game entirely, the two tribes will be merged. At this point, the immunity
and reward challenges become an individual competition. The winner of the immunity
challenges will be the only one to receive immunity-- everyone else on the tribe will be available
to vote for at Tribal Council. The same goes for the reward challenges-- only the person who wins
the challenge will be rewarded (although some rewards have the option of choosing other
participants to join the winner in the reward.)
This cycle continues until there are only three people left in the game. At this point,
all the characters who have been voted out of the game will listen to a speech from each of the
final three and then will cast their vote for the WINNER of Survivorprise.
Sorry, there's no million-dollar prize. All you get is bragging rights.
CROSS-THREAD reading is DISCOURAGED. I can't actually STOP you, but for the sake of the game
it's honestly discouraged. You can't UN-see something once you've read it! Once the game is over
or your character has been voted off, feel free to read everything in its entirety and be shocked
and surprised! But before then, it's best to stick to the threads where YOUR character is so there's no
unconscious bleed-over of IC/OOC information! It'll make everything more fun for everyone involved!
The nature of the game is MOOT if you are reading all of the threads and are omnisciently aware of
who is aligned with who and what the alliances are. It removes 99% of the fun from the game. I am
trusting you as a PLAYER NOT to read threads that your character is not involved with.

Each tribe will have a main 'TRIBE CAMPFIRE' thread that is public ground. Any characters who want to
go off by themselves to talk must LINK OUT to a separate thread (yes, a link that I HOPE no one else will
follow but when everything is over it will be way more coherent and easier than ME trying to keep track
of when all the side-threads happened, if that makes sense.) TRIBAL COUNCIL will be its own thread and
so will IMMUNITY and REWARD CHALLENGES.
TRIBAL COUNCIL and IMMUNITY CHALLENGES will be scheduled OOC time so that you have a deadline for
when to wrap up side threads. If your threads are NOT wrapped by the time either of those events begin,
GM will be wrapping them up FOR YOU, IC so that there will be no additional conversation between characters
as the events progress, sorry! (this is why I'm looking for active players.)
The challenges will be structured as single-reply threads in which I will summarize the challenge and roll
dice. The outcome will be largely effected by your character's statistics- which will be effected in positive
and negative ways as the game goes on-- winning reward challenges will likely boost certain statistics and
various random events will detract from them (as well as surviving longer-- the longer you are on the
'island' the lower your stats will go.) The challenges will vary between physical, mental and emotional
difficulties. Dice rolls will decide the outcome (factoring in statistics) and the results will be posted after
all characters have replied to the initial summary starter.
ADDITIONAL IC INFO
Because of the nature of the game, any pre-existing relationships between SURVIVOR players will be null
and void. They will still remember all of their relationships with their families/friends who are NOT in the
game (for instance they will remember their spouse and best friend that are not participating but will not
remember that PLAYER X is their friend if they are also in the SURVIVOR game.) This will eliminate any
advantages that would otherwise be present with pre-existing relationships among tribe members.
To sign up a character you will have to distribute 50 points across a series of attributes that are listed
below in the sign-up sheet. These will enable accurate results in the IMMUNITY/REWARD CHALLENGES
(combined with random luck) for dice-rolling purposes. Some of these attributes will also be effected during
camp life by random circumstances/events that happen during camp-- please keep an eye here for your character's
most up-to-date statistics as I will be updating the list below on a regular basis throughout the game.
